  • This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to use specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation and oxygen therapy in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

  • This unit applies to persons who may be required to use specialised equipment to provide resuscitation or oxygen therapy in a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings.

Course Duration – Online and face to face // 4 approx. hours online and approx. 5 hours face to face.

Certificate Valid Duration – The recommended review timeframe for HLTAID015 is 1 years and HLTAID009 12 months.

Prerequisites – A valid HLTAID011 certificate and (in the class learners need to be able to complete 2 minutes / 5 cycles of CPR).

-         The ability to successfully complete online learning is the learner’s obligation prior to the face-to-face session.

Certificates of Attainment Achieved – HLTAID009 and HLTAID015.
