HLTAID014 - Advanced first aid

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide an advanced first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies. The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide an advanced first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

Course Duration – Online and face to face // pre-course workbook online self paced and 6-8 hours face to face

Certificate Valid Duration – HLTAID011 3 years and HLTAID009 12 months

Prerequisites – Nil (in the class learners need to be able to complete 2 minutes / 5 cycles of CPR)

-         The ability to successfully complete online learning is the learner’s obligation prior to the face-to-face session.

Certificates of Attainment Achieved – HLTAID014 (includes HLTAID009, HLTAID010, HLTAID011 & HLTAID014)
